Toyota Warranty

Get a 12 month warranty with every service

Toyota Warranty is a service activated warranty, which is available to Toyota drivers of vehicles under 10 years old*

With Toyota Warranty, customers who bring their Toyota vehicle to any approved Toyota Service Centre for a service will benefit from an additional 12-month (10,000 miles) warranty, all for the price of an annual service. This extra warranty will only apply to vehicles which fall outside of the standard warranty period as outlined below:

  • 5 years warranty (new cars ordered before 1st June 2021)
  • 3 years warranty (new cars ordered on or after 1st June 2021)

Regardless of the vehicle's previous service history, each time it is serviced within the approved Toyota network it will automatically have a 12-month manufacturer's warranty applied.

It’s as simple as that.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's covered in the 12-month warranty?

Toyota Warranty offers the same cover as the manufacturer's warranty, and similarly does not cover wear and tear items. You can download the T&C's at the bottom of this page.

Will I receive confirmation of cover after my service?

We will advise if the vehicle is eligible for Toyota Warranty (i.e. if the vehicle is less than 10 years / 100,000 miles). Upon completion of the service and activation of the warranty contract, if we have your contact details you will receive a confirmation email. If you would like to know more please call us on (01983) 405551.

What will happen to Toyota vehicles currently covered by a five year warranty?

If you ordered your new Toyota before 1st June 2021, the vehicle will be covered by a five year manufacturer's warranty. You can then enjoy the benefits of Toyota Warranty when you bring the car in for a scheduled service.

If I purchases a used car, when does the vehicle become eligible for Toyota Warranty?

If you purchase a used car, the vehicle will be covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty. You can then enjoy the benefits of Toyota Warranty when you bring the car in for its next service (approximately 12 months later).

What if the car has missed previous services?

If the vehicle has never been serviced in our network or has missed a scheduled service, you can still benefit from the service activated warranty, so long as the vehicle is less than 10 years or 100,000 miles.

Will Toyota Warranty be transferrable from one owner to a new owner?

Yes, if you want to sell your vehicle, the next owner will inherit the benefits of Toyota Warranty and they can continue to extend the warranty by maintaining the vehicle at a Toyota Centre. The warranty cover is only valid for the serviced vehicle and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.

Do customers have a policy number or a card to say their car is in a Toyota warranty?

All active contracts will be available for Leslies Toyota to access on a central Toyota system, so you won't receive a policy number or card to prove the warranty on your vehicle.
