KIA MOTORS CORPORATION INTRODUCES GLOBAL WARRANTY PROMISE

  • Kia Global Warranty Promise provides peace of mind to customers globally
  • Warranties extended to 30 June 2020
  • Kia Motors (UK) Ltd. remains sympathetic to warranty claims

Further assisting customers during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Kia Motors Corporation has expanded its worldwide commitment to its renowned warranty offering by introducing the Kia Global Warranty Promise. As of now, all vehicles with valid Kia warranties that expire between 1 February 2020 and 30 April 2020 will be extended in all markets until 30 June 2020 on all eligible vehicles.

Here in the UK, Kia Motors (UK) Limited has already taken steps to assure customer’s anxieties are minimised in regards to their vehicle warranty. Stating a sympathetic approach to customers who are unable to get their vehicles serviced in line with the 7 Year Warranty requirements, valid warranty claims will be honoured until proper servicing of vehicles can be undertaken. Additionally, if there is an existing valid warranty claim on a customer car but repairs cannot be completed before the warranty expires, because of current Government measures, those claims are also being honoured.

This decision, from Kia’s headquarters in South Korea, has been taken to take the strain and uncertainty off valued customers globally, giving them one less thing to worry about during the uncertain couple of months that lie ahead for many communities.
